They built their  own houses with </B></div> <div> <B>   the  timber which they found in the area, then  built for others, thus </B></div> <div> <B>   establishing a tradition which Charles carries on today. Charles  </B></div> <div> <B>   graduated from Louisiana State University at Lafayette, La.  with a B.A. </B></div> <div> <B>   in Architecture . Widely traveled and inspired by a naturalistic school of </B></div> <div> <B>   architecture, he has practiced in New Orleans and Boston and has </B></div> <div> <B>   garnered awards and mention in influential magazines and journals.</B></div> <div> <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#FF0033" FACE="Arial" ><B>   French Quarter Design</B></FONT><B> </B><B>has commissioned Charles to design a </B></div> <div> <B>   continuing series of New Orleans houses we wanted these houses to </B></div> <div> <B>   be not only original in concept, but affordable and buildable by the owner.</B></div> <div> <B>   The houses he has designed are simple in construction technique and </B></div> <div> <B>   artistically significant in terms of today's lifestyles.    </B></div> <bR> <div> <I><B><IMG SRC="c49f5030.jpg" border=0 width="501" height="259" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></B></I></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
